Palate Food+Wine

Getting excited about our November 3rd visit to Glendale's Palate Food+Wine - they have a Cirque du Fromage we will be participating in! That's a CIRCUS OF CHEESE. That phrase couldn't make me any more happier.

From their website:
palate is wine-centric, passionate, and down-to-earth. palate is a restaurant, a wine merchant, a cheese cellar, a tasting bar and lounge, and an eno-gastronomic library occupying the ground floor of a seven-story Bekins moving depot (circa 1928) turned wine-storage vault. palate is a vibrant gathering place in an inspiring setting designed to nurture a sense of community among lovers of delicious food and great wine and the farmers and wine producers so instrumental to the art of eating—and drinking. Created by chef + principal Octavio Becerra, chef Gary Menes, wine director Steve Goldun, and general manager Francois Renaud, palate is where food, wine and people meet.

Teadebris @ Street

Susan Feniger's STREET writes...
With a menu of simple yet sophisticated tastes inspired by street vendors and family recipes worldwide, STREET brings the finds of Chef Susan Feniger’s (Too Hot Tamales, Border Grill and Ciudad) travels, and love for authentic foods of varying cultures, all under one roof. Vibrant and cozy, the dark wood interior and outdoor patio with palm trees and a firepit, offer a friendly atmosphere for sitting back and enjoying an adventure in tasting. Sit at the kitchen window bar and you may be the first to snag a taste of Indian Vada Dumplings (crispy dal fritters topped with mint, yogurt and tamarind date chutney) or Malaysian Black Pepper Clams from the chef!

Hope to see you there!

Taco Coma

Yes, we are all still in a taco daze. Our stomachs say, "no more" but our brains ask "carnitas anyone?" Please send us your photos and we'll post them for all to bask in our taco glory.
